Blooming iris always remind me of my late mom, so I named this piece after her.
Painterly glass brings this sun catcher to life. The iris colors were chosen to resemble the variety of bearded iris called “Rasputin” with deep purple, creamy pink, and orange. The boarder is from one sheet of glass (an absolute favorite from my collection) and looks like a watercolor painting. There are whimsical stars etched on the iridescent clear, a little extra magic that you can only see in certain light.
Because of the glass used this piece is truly one of a kind.
