Blooming iris always remind me of my late mom, so I named this piece after her.
Painterly glass brings this sun catcher to life. The iris colors were chosen to resemble the variety of bearded iris called “Golden Panther” with bright orangey red and yellow glass. The boarder is from one sheet of glass and moves between soft yellows and brighter yellows with orange swirls, with deep teal corner pieces. There are whimsical stars etched on aqua glass, a little extra magic that you can only see in certain light.
