Stained Glass Workshops

Learn how to make stained glass in one day with Kilani + Rachel. Whether you are new to glass art or already a beginning artist who wants to develop their skills, we would love to see you in class.

Our small workshops (3-6 students) are held in historic Downtown Grass Valley, California, nestled in the Sierra Nevada foothills where we grew up. Each workshop is only one session long and all students leave with a finished piece of stained glass artwork, made with their own two hands. Check out some of our former students’ beautiful work below:

Halloween Themed Designs

Workshop Policies

Students must be 18 or older unless accompanied by an adult. We work with sharp glass and extremely hot soldering irons that are not suitable for all ages (high school and older recommended). Please reach out with questions before purchasing tickets for minors.

Our class space is ADA accessible. Workshop activities include use of vibrating machinery and requires standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time, as well as use of fine motor skills and upper body strength. Feel free to ask us for more information about accessibility.

No workshop ticket cancellations or refunds. We are a micro-business and we rent a class space for our workshops. Ticket purchases go directly towards our venue fee, supplies for students, insurance, etc. Thank you for understanding and please consider this before purchasing your ticket.

Tickets can absolutely be transferred or given to someone else. If you can’t use your ticket and you reach out far enough in advance, we can try to resell your ticket. If we’re able to fill your spot in class, we would be able to process a refund (minus processing fees).

If less than 3 students sign up for a workshop, class may be subject to cancellation. In this case, enrolled students would be notified via email and their tickets would be refunded in full.
